Privacy policy

This policy explains how Nine Stars Trading handles personal information when you use the NSG grocery service in Qatar.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, such as your name, Qatar mobile number, optional email, delivery address, saved address labels, order details, fulfilment choice, and support messages. If you sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook, that provider sends us its account identifier and the name or email you choose to share. We do not receive the password for your Apple, Google, or Facebook account. If you choose current location, the app uses location to help complete an address only after you grant permission.

We also process basic device, session, security, and diagnostic information needed to keep accounts signed in, prevent abuse, send requested order notifications, and operate the service.

How we use information

We use this information to verify customer accounts, prepare and deliver or hold orders for pickup, process payments, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain inventory, and improve store operations. We do not sell personal information or use precise location for advertising.

Service providers

Our hosting, social sign-in, SMS verification, payment, and notification providers may process only the information needed to provide their services. Card details are handled by the selected payment provider and are not stored by NSG. Social sign-in, SMS, and online payment features remain unavailable until their production providers are activated and verified.

For an active delivery order, Nine Stars may share the customer’s delivery contact and address with the assigned driver. The customer may see the assigned driver’s business contact number so they can coordinate that delivery. Driver contact information is not shown before assignment.

Retention and security

We retain account and order information for as long as needed for service, legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute purposes. We use access controls, hashed session credentials, and restricted server secrets. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can update your profile, remove saved addresses, sign out, or delete your account from My account. Account deletion removes login, profile, address, and device data; required transaction records are retained in anonymized form.
